What is Niramana?
Niramana is a tabletop skirmish game in which monsters and hunters hunt each other.

Do I need specific miniatures for this game?
No, you can use any miniature you like. Make sure that the hunter miniatures and small monster miniatures have 32mm bases and large monster miniatures 60mm bases.
When the game is released there will be 5 monster miniatures and various hunter parts (these can be assembled individually to build your hunter).
All miniatures will be avaiable as STL-files and are not currently planned as a preprinted version.

What can i change about my units?
Niramana's rulebook is kept simple and gain his strength from the thousands of possibilities to change your units according to your ideas. You have a certain number of points for each hunter and monster with which you can customize your hunter. This can be more or fewer points depending on the game mode and agreement wiht the opponent.

The weapon-armory contains 10 weapons in the main rulebook that differ in their cost, type, damage, effects, etc., additional weapons are planned via Kickstarter milestones. (9 weapons are currently planned as milestones)
These weapons can also be improved, up to two improvements can be selected. These change the values and provide additional abilities.

The armor-armory contains three different amors that you can choose from. (Light, Medium and Heavy Armor) These differ in their evasion values and protection values.
Armor can also be improved. This also applies up to twice and changes the evasion and proteciton values.

The magic, of course magic shouldn't be missing in a game like this, which is why there are 10 different types of magic. Some of them can only be used by certain races. (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Electric, Dragon, Nature, Shadow, Summoning, Oni) You can teach your hunter up to 3 types of magic, and choose exactly the magic spells from a list that suit your play style.

Finally, if you still have points left, you can easily adjust your base stats. (Health points and movement range)

Monster - It works roughly the same way with monsters, but there are two ways to put your monsters together.

The first way is to choose a monster from the world of Niramana, so you already have certain stats, skills, magic, weapons and special features and can customize your monsters with the remaining points. (There are currently 5 types of monsters)

The second way is to put everything together from scratch like with the hunters, this will work via a monster building system.
This is particularly important for using your own monsters.

During the course of the Kickstarter, some monsters will also be at the start as milestones.
These bring new components for the monster building system and lots of new abilities, magic, etc.
Of course, each additional monster brings new weapons and armor improvements for hunters.

Are there different game modes?
Yes, there are currently two modes.

The first mode is "The Hunt" in which 4 hunters hunt a large monster and small monsters.
This can of course also be played monster against monster "turf war" or hunter against hunter "practice battle". *These then have slightly differnt rules.

The second mode is the „Roguelike Hunt“ which is based on a mini dungeon in which the hunters first have to face small monsters and later against a boss monster. Hunters start with very limited basic equipment and can upgrade it as battles progress. During the battles, the monster player receives points and other things to customize the boss monster.
The Mini Dungeon is randomly generated and is created by a deck of cards or rolling dices.
Therefore, every round is completely different and for each stage (there are 3 stages) you complete you will receive different amount of points and raw materials that can then be used to customize the hunters and the boss monster.
If you want to do it quickly, you can of  course distribute the points and resources from the revealed cards or the dice rolls and go straight into the boss fight.
